Simon Jones celebrates his second year in charge at Sevenoaks Town this month. The Town boss took over in caretaker charge in March 2007 when Derek Moore and Bobby Pittaway stepped down, and the club finished 11th.
Jones was given the job permanently that summer and enjoyed a good month a year ago when Town beat Lordswood Hythe and Faversham, only to fade badly, losing their last seven league games and fill 14th spot.
He said: "It didn't quite go according to the whole plan last season, but two years in the job have been very enjoyable and long may it continue. I have learned a heck of a lot since stepping up from park football to take on reserve team management and nobody said then it would be easy."
