Jones: "I have heard nothing so far"

Simon Jones is still waiting to find out when his appeal against a Kent County Football Association misconduct charge will be heard. It's now two months since the incident when he was sent from the dug out during the 3-0 Bulmers Cider Kent League Premier Division defeat against Faversham Town at Greatness Park on December 5. The Town boss is accused of "improper or insulting behaviour towards match officials" but claims it was mistaken identity, the alleged comments to assistant referee, made by a spectator standing behind the barrier. Jones said: "All the relevant paperwork has been sent to the KCFA, and we are now waiting to hear when the appeal will be heard."
